Our History

In 2017, I'mPACT Founder and CEO, Robin Adams filed Articles of Incorporation for Asa's Place to create a Residential Pediatric Recovery Center (RPRC) for infants born like her adopted son, Asa, dependent on drugs at birth.  While working toward making Asa's Place a reality, other needs became apparent in the community.  In 2019, Asa's Place filed paperwork with the IRS and completed other legal filings to change the name of the nonprofit to I'mPACT which stands for I'm Protecting Against Childhood Trauma.  This period of growth and change has allowed i'mPACT to begin serving a much broader range of children negatively impacted by parent substance use through four registered programs including:
